Freedom Fighters workshop with Stella Dadzie at the National Maritime
Friday 13th January
The workshop will be focussing on Stella’s development of a digital trail highlighting Black histories in the National Maritime Museum, with a focus on Black women. Stella will talk through her research and approach, take you into galleries to interrogate the presence of Black histories and discuss your thoughts on how museums should be presenting these histories. We will also be talking through a framework in which you will be able to add your own personal/collaborative responses to the digital trail which will be paid if you choose to contribute something – this will be an additional opportunity to participate in after the workshop.
The day will include lunch and refreshments and you will be remunerated for contributions to the trail.
